Word Thirty-Seven: Eyes

He entered the building, and immediately her gaze was fixed on him. The wind touseled his medium brown hair, the upper half of his face hidden behind dark rimmed sunglasss.

He smiled at her as he walked toward her desk. Uneasiness wrangled her stomach. She pasted on a grin anyhow.

“How may I help you, sir?”

He smiled back at her, and asked for her manager.

That smile. She knew it. She KNEW that smile, and it terrified her.

She asked for his name, but somehow knew he’d give an alias, just like before.

He removed his sunglasses, and her fears were confirmed.
